How are you at solving puzzles?

Not the kind with pieces that you put together but ones like this:

Problem

There are five houses sitting next to each other on a neighborhood street. Each house's owner is of a different nationality. Each house has different colored walls. Each house's owner drinks their own specific beverage, smokes their own brand of cigar, and keeps a certain type of pet. None of the houses share any of these variables—nationality, wall color, beverage, cigar, and pet—they are all unique.

Here is what you know:

The Englishman lives in the house with red walls.
The Swede keeps dogs.
The Dane drinks tea.
The house with green walls is just to the left of the house with white walls.
The owner of the house with green walls drinks coffee.
The man who smokes Pall Mall keeps birds.
The owner of the house with yellow walls smokes Dunhills.
The man in the center house drinks milk.
The Norwegian lives in the first house.
The Blend smoker has a neighbor who keeps cats.
The man who smokes Blue Masters drinks beer.
The man who keeps horses lives next to the Dunhill smoker.
The German smokes Prince.
The Norwegian lives next to the house with blue walls.
The Blend smoker has a neighbor who drinks water.

The question is this: One of the house owners keeps fish, who is it?

It took me a lot longer then it should have, had too many interruptions and had to get back in the right frame of mind on the restarts. I will not give you any hints but if someone wants to try it and gets stuck then I will.

If you don't want to try then don't, but I don't believe it is as hard as they claim, only 2% can figure it out???

His answer and mine agree so at least two of us have the same correct answer, my guess is that we all do so long as you didn't just guess anywhere along the way.

I'll hold off posting the answer for another day in case someone is still wanting to do the work to solve it.

Anyone who needs a starting point I can give you a hint of how I started, just ask.
