What's the difference in arbors since 1978?
I bought my Mark V (serno 23600) new in '78 and upgraded it to a 510 in '91. I don't know when I bought extra arbors, but I've got several and they all look the same and I can't find any markings on them for identification.

You probably bought a 505, which uses the same arbors that are used on the 510 and 520. No difference. The difference, is that the arbors for the 500 are knot made for the newer models.

Length and intended function are the primary difference between arbors unless you have one that allows the use of a blade with other than a 5/8" hole.
