I went down to my local tool store yesterday to pick up some drill bits and discovered this stash of USA made clamps and brought them home as well. It is really sad to see Adjustable Clamp Company out of business. I have some of these clamps that I have had for over 30 years. They are a perfect example of you get what you pay for.

There was another post here recently about the US made Jorgenson clamps disappearing from the market. It is a sign of the times that we will no longer be able to buy US made tools. The world is changing no matter if we want it to or not.
The good part is that the quality of Oriental tools has improved a lot over the years. Years ago, the Japanese and Chinese made tools were all crap. Today, they are fairly decent quality.

Lucky for me that I bought many of my woodworking tools years ago when made in USA was still common.
