Just thought I would post the protective box I built for the Ibox. I thought it needed it :D

Tricky :D I hope it holds up. Self supporting on the pins and plywood top.

That's cool, Dick. I just throw an old sheet over mine. Might have to build a box. Hmmm, maybe with box joints, too.
Thanks for the pictures.

Nice idea. I always like it when people use their own ideas and make things themselves. Something like this isn't available in any stores, but with some work you can make it yourself.

Slick idea and an impressive implementation. If I ever get back in the shop there will be copy cat version.

Can you store the I-Box in the box with the one blade square mounted in its' operational position?

Pretty much. I like kissing the blade with the quill (as in my earlier posts) and setting it up every time I use it anyway, because it only take a few mins, so it doesn't matter to me, but it could be built to store it any way you wanted by building it to measurements..

I just wanted it in a box so I wouldn't drop a saw blade on it (knowing me) ... LOL

Nice. I would drill a hole to stick the allen wrench in on one of the blocks so it does not rattle around and is always in one spot when looking for it. I always seem to misplace them.

I second that.

How bout a couple of pins to secure the lid box joint piece.
