Congratulations on mastering the art of adding pictures! Once you learn how, it will become much easier and enjoyable. While there are size limits (Max of 2050 pixels wide, 1180 pixels high, 2 MB total file size), the only downside to being well under those limits is that images can appear rather small. You may want to try increasing the size of your images next time, so we can see your beautiful work in greater detail. Your sewing machine case is impressive, and I better not let my wife see it ... she may want one just to raise the machine up off of her worktable, in lieu of the stack of phone books she now uses.

FWIW, I use 1024 X 768 and it works fine.

That one was 5.00 at a yard sale , the owner said she was going to toss it away because it was old and the cabinet was nasty........ now it has a new cherry / walnut home .

Yes, old dogs can learn new tricks, but sometimes the old tricks the dog already knows serve the purpose as well as a new one would.

I also find it a bit of a struggle to post pictures here on the Shopsmith board using the "expected" way of uploading the picture to the Shopsmith site. So, I do it my old way of hot linking to my own server so the pictures are displayed from my site instead of from Shopsmith's site. Either way gets the job done, so I continue to do it the way I've been doing it for years.

What is the "expected" way to upload pictures to the board? Different sites have different requirements. Comply with the pixel and file size and there is no problem.

If in the future your site changes for what ever reason your pictures will not be available when I read your post. Think 3 or 4 or 10 years from now!

It is not hard to resize pictures for this forum or any other forum. There are many free programs to do this. It is very simple so upload your pictures here so they will always be available to the forum members.

I learned to post pictures here on the forum. This was back in 2006/2007 time frame. I used a cheap Olmypus digital back then. Not much of a camera by todays standards.

Some of those images are still here on the forum. If you see one you'll know that it is from days long gone.
