Today in the shop (MATCHFIT Dado stop)

The people at MicroJIG have a product called MATCHFIT Dado Stop and mine has just arrived. I'm still working on some lathe projects so I can't tell you how well it really works but at least I can make you aware of it.
If you already own the MATCHFIT dovetail clamps they this is a pretty reasonable price. You can read about them here:

I'm sure it is going to take a little getting use to but if it works out then I'm going to be a happy camper for-sure.
It attaches to the rip fence with the before mentioned clamps and then lets you locate both sides of the blade and then set up to do inlays or dado's based on the thickness of the actual part (limited to about 3/4" it looks like). You use a regular blade with a flat tip or a rip blade and get the two outside cuts done then nibble away the material between.
It's best if you check out their video and details here:

I was $19.90 + 4.90 shipping so $24.80 total. If you need the clamps well then it going to cost you..........
I'd like to get at it this weekend but who knows. Went to a home show today so no shop time. I could make myself I guess but I don't see that happening my legs and back are already tired.
If you have one let us know what you think of it.
