Drill Doctor - SB (spade bit) Model

Post by fixit »

I have this model Drill Doctor (DD) and I'm happy with it. But I wasn't happy with not having a place to use it easily.

Had an extra set of legs for an extension table and decided to build a sharpening station for the DD.

Here are a few pictures of the stand I came up with. It's fully functional now but I haven't finished trimming it out yet.

It stores either on one of the stations on my workshop on a wall setup or on the power stand or one of my MVs.

I have a couple other ideas for improving this stand but I'm not sure when I will get to that project. Things seem to have a way of getting in the way - if you know what I mean.
