A mark 5 and a 10ER are two DIFFERENT things.

Just to introduce myself and thank you for your post. It was so easy to access the answer I was seeking, the age of my 10E. I'm currently modifying a 10E serial# 2187 for a production tool. I'm extending the rails, changing the motor to variable speed (from a free Craigslist treadmill). Thanks, Dan Deulen

Hi Dan, could you post pictures of your modified machine and some details on the speed control, motor mount, and so on? How has it worked out for you?
Thanks,
