Saw blade ?

Post by dgreen810 »

Can someone direct me to a flat bottom cut 10" 5/8" arbor saw blade other than a Woodworker II? I really don't want to spend $150.00 for a saw blade. I know that there must be other maker's out there a little more reasonable in price.

It seems like I got some thing from menards in a 3 pack contractor package but it was 71/4 dia combination blades with a 5/8 arbor.
I ,,,think,,,, they had 10" also in singles.

Depending on how many times you will need it , I don't think the quality of these are all that great.

You might consider a Freud D1080X Diablo 10-Inch 80-tooth ATB Finish Saw Blade, which is reasonable on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/D1080X-Diablo-10 ... B00008WQ32

I use a 40-tooth for just about everything either in the 520, or on my miter saw.

Neither are going to be as thin a kerf though.

Don said he wanted a flat bottom cut. An ATB blade will not do that.

Missed that on my iPhone....

Then I would suggest a Diablo 10 in. x 50-Teeth Combination Saw Blade which alternates the teeth with a flat tooth....

Thanks for the suggestions. I purchased two Forrest Woodworker II blades on eBay for $100.00. One was new ATB grind, the other is a # 6 OD which is a a almost flat kerf. Not completely flat but close. Also included was a new SS 5/8" arbor, and a Forrest stiffener.

Thanks for the suggestions. I purchased ROCKPORT Table Saw Blades on Amazon for 19.99$. these blades will get use on both saws. They seem to perform well and are at a great price!

The first think I did was to closely inspect them. They are well made, and I could see no manufacturing defects
