I just finished this hood. Hoping to get back on the Credenza that I need to build!

I showed my wife, and I think she wants one.
It really does look great.
I had no idea that wood was a suitable material for them ... all I see is stainless, or maybe powder-coated steel. No fire-code or maintenance issues with wood?

I think that is an outer decorative shell. A 'real' hood will be placed inside.
