I am starting to think about the next project ,it will be some time close to fall because of the shoulder surgery .
I have a question for you folks, I usually make my own drawings /plans /patterns based on a idea I have in my head . also makes every thng different then others.

I was wondering if any one has information on a website that has drawings / patterns of furniture.
I am looking to do a table with ball and claw feet ,i would like to come up with a pattern for the legs .

Thanks

I didn't know that I was supposed to be making things in the shop.... All of my planning just involves working on the shop. :D :D :D
You would think that by now I would have a great, efficient and well organized shop but no, it's still a mess...  :o :D
I did move a little lumber yesterday and "planned" some wiring. I also moved a small roll around table in from the farm shop and removed the crappy top and shelf the PO had put on it. I also oiled up the big casters on it so that it rolls easy and goes the direction I want to push it. This morning I'll put a new top and shelf on it. The top is about 20" x 36". Its job is to be for rolling stuff from station to station if I can convince it to stayed cleared off when not in actual use. :o :o :o

I get a lot of ideas from Pinterest...

Ball and claw feet will definitely be a challenge ! Other than a CNC I think you have a lot of carving in your future. What wood are you thinking of ?

Rotator Cuff? Best wishes for a speedy recovery if that's the case. When are you scheduled? Just to tick my wife off, I turned a pen five days after my surgery! Shoulder surgery can really break your rhythm. I have projects I started prior to my surgery that I still have not finished- 18 months later!!!

Yes ,,,,,rotator cuff re-attach the bicep ligament , scheduled for the end of march, had the other one done last October .

This one is worse then the first , said it is a complete thickness tear , was doing good until I slipped on the ice this winter and tore it!!

You sound like me , I was finishing a table as soon as the pain killers wore off .

Paid for it the next day!!

Not certain how this might work for plans, however a friend and his wife like Queen Ann style furniture. When he was looking for inspiration, his wife would buy a used book from Amazon that highlighted that style. I think (though not really certain) that they began looking for books on design/build for Queen Ann, but ended up just buying "coffee table" aka pretty pictures to look at books. He is an incredible craftsman and likes making things with hand tools more than power.
Anyway, a book with a variety of pieces might get your creative juices flowing,

Be well,
Ben
