This is the last day to order for the 20% off. I was thinking of converting over to the Velcro fastening system. What are your experiences with this system?
Thanks,
Velcro

If you mean for disc sanding, I'm satisfied with it.
I've been using it since it was first offered and like the convenience of swapping grits so easiliy.

Good system for sanding (only). Shouldn't try sharpening tools on a velcro disk. It would be by by disk, maybe by by tool and worst of all - by by body parts.
I love mine!

I have used the velcro system from the beginning. No problems and easy to change out different grits without ruining them. IMHO, it is the way to go!

I received and starting using the velcro sanding disk a few months ago. I am very pleased. The sanding surface stays put. I can make a few passes with course, then switch easily to fine with little setup. I have two metal discs in my inventory, one still used for adhesive paper for sharpening, the other has hook & loop. Works well for me.

I just installed mine today, so I haven't used it. I recommend that you clean your disk really well and remove all traces of oils, etc. from the disk. Apply the conversion disk to a warmed disk to improve adherence. I sat mine out in the sun for a little while and it warmed up nicely.
