I inherited this scroll saw a few years ago. I finally got to set it up yesterday. It was without blades and I believe I have realized that I am also missing the blade clamps. Can anyone provide a reputable place to buy clamps and blades?

Is it a Shopsmith saw? If so, the easiest place to get parts is directly from Shopsmith.

Shopsmith for the clamps if that is what you are missing. A picture would help.
My wife uses Flying Dutchman or Olson blades. Just Google, they are available from many places.

Jody, is it reasonable for us to assume that you have a Shopsmith 20" scroll saw. If so, can you tell us the model number or part number (555715 or 555685). This is not the latest version.

Consider this:

but check what you already have.
This is also available:

which I recommend if you are a heavy user.

So sorry guys. First post problems! It is the 555272 model. I've sent an e-mail to Shopsmith already but it was the weekend and I knew a few of you would have great answers for me. I just didn't compose my request very well.
Thanks for these links. I should have my problem resolved by tomorrow.

PN 515279 You will need 2 I suggest getting 4. That way swapping blades is less time consuming.
Now the question is, are they still 'available'. I do hope so!
If not, the upgrade is available and will work on yours.

Thank you. I will spend the $52 and get the upgrade unless anyone else knows of a cheaper solution that will work as well.
