Herons are back...pictures

Years ago it was rare to see a nest in our area. Well all of that has changed and now there are quite a few nesting near one of our walking paths. A few might be sitting already, can't really tell.
Speaking of spring we got to see the "baby" squirrel down on the ground just the other day. When they come out of the box it very hard to tell is it is a young one or an adult. Sometime the tail is thinner/less dense but until an adult shows up to see the size difference to be sure.
We had seen it on the roof of the squirrel box for days and then about two days ago it was down on the ground checking the birdseed droppings for a meal. I know a lot of the members do not like squirrels but we enjoy watching them and they are funny... but I'll save you from having to see any pictures.
