Which Tubes Go Where?

Post by bgam65 »

Disassembled everything on the SS 510. One set of tubes are 52" long the other pair are 52 3/8" long. I have tried several variations but just can't get the base assembly right. Please help!

You said 52 3/8". They should be 52 3/4" long. The 52" tubes are the upper way tubes that the head stock and the table carriage ride on. The 52 3/4" tubes are the lower tubes that hold the bench legs together.
