Hi, I kinda introduced my self a little over a year ago. I saved some money from my inheritance, and bought a new Shopsmith, with most of the attachments (Thank you, Doug Reid). I received it in late February, and it has sat in boxes, in my basement, for far too long. I kinda got hijacked by life's happenings, but have now gotten the SS together, and am building the workshop. I have about a 15 foot by 17 foot space available in the basement of our townhouse. After this post, I'm gonna go downstairs and assemble/mount the lift assist. A friend is a super for a construction company, and the company is doing a commercial tear-out on May 1. He has told me to put in an order for any cabinets I want, and I'm supposed to be getting 20 feet of upper and lower cabinets. I am en electrician by trade and am building the workshop with the plans mostly in my head LOL. I am having a great time so far, and the only negative I foresee is having some noise issues with one of my neighbors when the table saw and DC are running. I am in Pepperell Ma. I will say that so far, following the forums here, has probably saved me from making many mistakes, but I will most likely find some to make, cause that's been my normal learning process thus far in life LOL. Artie
