Oh, I so wish that there was a section here on the forum dedicated to 10E/10ER information.
Still another one for the Mark VII would be nice.

I so agree. It would be a welcome addition.
Even a section for the Sawsmith 2000 and other items such as the air compressors etc.

Not sure he meant it THAT way Everett.
Maybe we need a section for those who want to gripe.

Why is it so hard to ignore threads you don't want to read? It seems to me the same a ignoring a "section" on some unwanted discussion.

Think of the forum as a wedding reception. You have a seating chart. You have to find a place for the wacky uncle. The 10 er is that uncle. He is part of the family. Make him welcome!
There are more similarities than differences when it come to how to do a task on a Shopsmith.

An excellent and on point example of what I see this as.

I think there should be an Er dedicated one, there are so many out there and so many restored and in use, not to mention that was what SS started with.
My family has 4, all original bearings and motors, just some rust clean up on the tubes, and some clean up on the HS and wiring and on/off switches/replacement.
It would designate an New Area just for them, instead of being on all the others. I dont think the MS would object to that since I see it as the old classic that started it all, and 67+ years they are still out there and wanted and functional!!!
A testimonial to SS over the years, my Greenie, Grayling, and ERS. How they developed it, transformed to the PP, ect and still have parts, CS and support for them, minus the ERs.
How many companies over that period of time can say that with multiple ownerships?
