Field trip to Shipwright's shop.

Last Saturday morning I drove north, around 35 minuets, to Cowichan Bay to visit Paul Miller (Shipwright). We have communicated in the past on the internet but this was the first time we had met in person.
I was given a tour of his workshop/marquetry school, got to see his beautifully restored 10er, saw many of his exquisite marquetry projects, and was given a demonstration of the precision with which his chevalet cut veneer packets.
Then we had a nice chat over a cup of coffee and it was time to go.
Paul kindly sent home with me a clever diy SPT adapter and modified pulley/power coupler hub that had come with his 10er.
Thanks again Paul.
And to memorialise the occasion I took my first "selfie", Paul is the tall, good looking one on the right.
