Post by jdonovan »

Shopsmith has a wider version of the standard extension table, almost double in size, for the 500. Part # 555085 . Looking for input before I decide to buy them..Thanks in advance..Joe

When I got my greenie from my late FIL, it was the first new thing I bought for it.

I have those that came with 500's bought used plus on my 510.
I can't honestly say that I have ever used them to any real advantage but somehow they just feel "gooder". :) :) :)

The best 'part' is that the latest miter gauge slot extension also fits.

BTW The 'new'(current) version of the extension table CAN be adjusted to work on the 'old' narrow M5 aux table. However it cannot work both ways with a single adjustment setting.

WHOOPS wrong thread - will leave it here anyway.
