Wooden Toy Car - Hot Rod Freaky Ford - 27 T Coupe - Orange

I made the body of this little hot rod from MDF. It's primed and then airbrushed with Behr acrylic house paint. The top coat is Rust-oleum clear glaze. There are a lot of coats of paint on this one.
The exhaust pipes and hubs are made from birch and painted with flat acrylic craft paint then top coated with clear shellac.
The wheels are birch and finished with amber shellac. I like to mount these in a drill and spin them slowly while applying the shellac with a brush until they will not soak up any more. Being end grain on the sides They can soak up a surprising amount finish.
