So my second dual tilt is on order. Dave F. was the presenter and a few people were in attendance. Looked like a pretty sure sale and a reasonable expected sale of a powerpro and another pretty sure full blown Mark 7.

Lowe's had just finished a 11% rebate program at some of their stores which prompted a few sales at his last stop. I think he said 4 powerpro's and two full machines.

I hadn't heard about the 11% sale but that would have been a good deal for people who do not have a military discount(10%)actually it even slightly better.... I think it is like Menard's does with the rebate check to spend in their stores. Not sure of the details but if you are in the market check to see if it happens to happen at the right time with a demo in your area.

So in a couple of weeks I have another project to do. I've been catching up a bit so maybe I'll get to into it soon after it arrives. Maybe just do the table legs then a bit later I can do the ends. The table leg change shouldn't change alignment so the down time in minimal for the machine.

I have not yet installed the new table legs. This makes it clear to me that I really did not have a burning need for the double tilt. I think I bought it because I wanted to know how much better alignment was with the new end castings. I cannot report that it is any better but then what could I expect. Mine is well aligned and hardly ever needs tweaking anyhow.

However, when I do install the table legs, I plan to do so with the legs in the carriage and then install the tie bar assembly. It seems to me that this should ensure proper alignment. If it works like I think, I have another tie bar and leg assembly that does not perform well and I'll do a proof test (tear down and rebuild) on that unit.

It looks like my order is arriving today. Just ordered it at Lowe's last Thursday, so a week, not bad.

To bad I have so many other things that need doing 'cause I'd really like to work on it now. Oh well its time will come.
