113 degrees on a cloudy day in Lubbock
Live to fight another day. Can't imagine July and August.
Thank goodness there are many more temperate days generally.

It's a bit warmer here as well. But it is a clear, beautiful sun shining day with a slight breeze, all be it a warm breeze.
115° the last time Iooked. I did a glue up today and I am concerned, now, about how that might effect the glue joints.

But Dusty, it is a dry heat! 72 today in Connecticut and 99% humidity! It would be more comfortable if it rained!

I agree that the humidity makes it somewhat uncomfortable but temperatures in the hundreds (dry or not) is HOT. In the past I shrugged it off but I can no longer do that.
I'll post next month after the monsoon season has moved in here. Then we can compare heat and humidity. BTW, don't believe that bunk about "dry heat".

102 in the shade here in Vegas. Although the shop has AC it is struggling. This weekend was spent getting up early and erecting the steel for an awning to park the cars under. We had to quit by 1200. Just too hot.

My car thermometer read 95 degrees when I went to a theater organ concert today. It rained while we were in the concert and the temp was 82 degrees when we came out. After dinner at a restaurant it was 73 degrees.

97 yesterday. 99 today.
From what little I can glean from the meteorological sites, our monsoons will be late this year, Dusty. Seems the unusually deep snow pack in the Rockies will keep a high pressure area around, stunting the progression of the conditions that bring the monsoons.
Not too unusual. There's been several years when September was our wettest month.
Dry heat or wet, 115 is HOT. But, I'll gladly take the dry 115 rather than 95 heat with 95% humidity. BTDT and don't like it a bit.
