Greetings All;
I was recently given a Mark V "Greenie that has the 510 table conversion on it. I want to restore the machine to original and want to convert the tables and crank from the 510 set up back to the 500 setup. The tables are in good shape, everything just needs cleaned and polished. I would appreciate help to find a home for the 510 setup and in locating a 500 table setup. I have everything except the telescopic legs for the 510 tables. I am seeking the lever crank assembly table top with fence and the extension table top. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can be contacted at

Best Regards
Eric

This task should be very, very easy to accomplish. There are many who have converted the other direction and still have parts left from the original 500s.
I am very curious though, why do you want to go from a 510 configuration back to a 500. I read what you have said. You want to restore the machine to original but why?

I up graded my MKV to the 510 table and carriage , although I wouldn't get rid of my MKV table and carriage ,,,,, my table of choice is the 510, it is bigger and much more stable.
If you are interested in original eq check EBAY ,, the carriage and tables are listed regularly .

Leave a general location to find someone nearby (state located in) and someone would help you out for sure.

There is a Mark 5 table and fence posted on the "Shopsmith Fans Buy, Sell, and Wanted" group on Facebook , you would still need to find a carriage.
