Hi everyone,
I am pretty excited, I just picked up a ShopSmith MkV at a garage sale yesterday for $100. It seems most things are there and everything works albeit a bit dusty.
I have been thinking of getting into woodworking for a while and this was a nice little nudge. Based on the serial number I think my machine is from the early 70's.
I was wondering if there is a part of the forum for buying/selling parts? I think there are a few bits missing for the lathe and I would like to source them.
I don't imagine I will be using the saw much as I have a nice Bosch that I use, though the drill, lathe, sander and ability to expand further are very interesting to me!
I look forward to chatting with you guys!
