New 510, miscellaneous parts ID

Hey folks, I just acquired a Mark V 510. It came with a box of parts, and I am trying to figure out what I'm missing, and what goes together. It came with the bandsaw, scrollsaw, beltsander, and some type of shaping setup. The beltsander might need some work, but once I've got everything sorted I'll make a new post for that.

I think these are for the shaping attachment. They came with a box of spacing washers.

What I think are most of the shaping setup parts:

I don't think these are SS parts. Any help?

I think this includes a 500 table saw guard, as well as the 510 table saw guard:

I'm pretty sure I'm missing several lathe parts, telescoping legs for stability, the push sticks, etc. Anything else missing from the standard 510?

1 & 2 are router chucks (with router bits installed).
3 is a lathe face plate.
4 is either a blade stabilizer or perhaps a shim for a dado set.
5 is wagner safety planer. Apparently these are popular with luthiers (guitar makers).

#4 is indeed a blade stabilizer made by Forrest Manufacturing the saw blade company.

Welcome! I have found best way to tell what may be missing is to compare what you have to what new models come with as far as "Standard Accessories".
http://www.shopsmith.com/markvsite/standardaccess.htm

Most owners would also consider "standard" such things as lathe chisels, spurs, centers, faceplates, drill bits, and so on. Many owners purchase the basic starter packages for each function. Do some exploring on the Products tab and I'm sure you'll find what you need.

Excellent! Thanks for that link br549, exactly what I was looking for. I can build a shopping list from that very easily.

Does anyone have any insight on the shaping attachment? It seems like SS offers, or has offered, several versions of this. Would I be able to use my router bits along with this?

Others will chime in too, but here's my 2 cents:

1. The shaper fence (with the adjustable two wood faces) is used with the drum sander or the shaper where the faces are adjusted to match the reduced width of workpiece on the outfeed side.

2. The routing/shaper shield is used with both routing and shaping operations.

3. Routing is possible, with non-Shopsmith router bits as well, but depending on the project, I never found much use for this function as compared to other router options (stand alone routing set-ups or hand-held routers). The top speed of a Mark V is less than desired for high quality routing.

4. Never used or had shaper attachments, so 2 cents may be overpriced.

Besides the Product information, you should (if you haven't already) explore the other Woodworking Tips, on-line Sawdust Session videos, and the "sticky" posts at the top of the Maintenance and Repair Forum. Some of the material may not be flashy or slick, but good solid advice nonetheless.
