Well that would solve our issue here with heavy overcast..... Your picture might be the only one(s) I see today.

Pretty funny. In all seriousness, I had the wonderful oppotunity to see the entire eclispe event. "Total" lasted a bit over a minute and a half. The entire event was around 2.5 hours. It was indeed spectacular.

Caught parts of it this morning, 90% coverage here, not often we see a crescent sun.

Welding helmet put to good use.

I was grilling steaks on my grille so I took my welding helmet out there. Once it started up, I realized that it was a rerun. I already saw that one. I previously saw that same moon get in the way of that same sun.
So, I finished my steaks and went in the house and enjoyed them.
It gets darker than that every time we have a big thunderstorm.

Missed the whole thing. Changing blades on the mower.
As Gary said, it was a rerun, anyway. Heard the book was better.
