They fit in a 1 1/2" hole"?

It seems that something has gone wrong somewhere.

Most of the text is missing in my first post and by that I mean the text I had entered in the submission vanishes with the error I mentioned.

Some of the important details are this is for the later model 10ER's with the thinner tubes. And they don't fit that as is. But if you have the tools you can make a simple modification and get them to fit.

I personally don't care for the open tube look and this is my solution but it is not perfect. The good news is that I like the look. The bad news is that when you have them in there will be an issue when going to vertical. They extend out pass then end of the tubes. So they need to be removed or the length of exposure tube has to be adjusted, I have not experimented with that and may just stay with the removal of the them for now.

When I attempt to attach the rest of the images I get the error and the text goes away........ so I will see if I can post just images next time.

Well I hope you get the idea. I just used a chuck and then turned a bit off until it fit. If you don't take enough off it will not fit, if you don't enough off it might fit by pounding it in but then how do you get it off when you when it off??? Turning to get it just right is the key.

The cap is smaller then the exterior of the tubes so things slide on and off without a problem.

I got these at Ace Hardware, $1.60 each, I think if you shopped around you could get a better price. I did look at Menard's and Lowe's but didn't find them. Perhaps Home Depot?

I think they may be 'hard' enough to rest on the vertical tube pads(reposition the tubes in the end casting).









But then that will require repositioning the other base end etc..
