Putting my Power Pro headstock and 520 system in storage for the winter. Wonder if the Michigan cold will hard it or should I put it in warm room?

I'd make room for you to store it here where you can rest assured that it won't get too cold. It also needs to be operated now and then (on a regular basis).

I think I read some where that electronics should be kept warm?

I'd be more concerned about condensation and corrosion than about the temperature range of the electronics.

Both the operating and storage temperature range of circuitry depends on detailed electronic device selection, to which we're not privy. But garden-variety commercial-grade components generally have an operating-temperature range of at least 0-70C (32-158F), and storage temperatures ratings to -25C (-13F) are typical. If a designer needs a wider temperature range, industrial or automotive-grade components deliver, without much cost penalty.

I agree with BuckeyeDennis. I don't heat my shop 24/7 in the winter. However, it never gets below about 40 degrees inside even on the coldest days/nights that can be below 0 some winters. I have never had a problem with my Power Pro in the 4 years I have had it.
