I recently ordered a set of the polyurethane casters for my 510 and was wondering if anyone knows how much the new casters lift the unit in the first position and second position?

Any info would be appreciated.

This thread should answer your question (1/4" and 1/2") and provide some interesting information.

The caster upgrade includes only the casters themselves, instructions, and a drilling template. Your existing raise/lower mechanism will remain the same, and so the three positions, raised, middle, and full down won't change either.

What DOES change is that because the wheels are larger, the mechanism needs to be re-positioned up the leg bases. That's what the drilling template is for, to locate the new mounting holes.

As Dusty points out, there are a couple of long threads discussing the best way to go about re-locating the raise/lower mechanisms.
