I have a 10 er serial number 79329
Which from reading on the forums appears to be made in 1953.
Am I getting my info correct?

It should be 1952.

Welcome aboard.
That is a nice looking unit.
I am curious about the plywood blocks between the motor and the motor mounting plate.
The motor mounting plate is adjustable in height to allow for proper belt tension.
