Photobucket Fix

Photobucket changed their model a while back making all of the images shared from their site inaccessible unless you went to one of their paid plans. But, if you use Chrome, FireFox, or Opera, there's a "fix" for that. The "Photobucket Hotlink Fix" extension or add-on is available for those browsers.

Chrome Extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... apbifiaedg

FireFox Add-On: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... bucket-fix

Opera Add-On: https://addons.opera.com/es/extensions/ ... otlink-fix

I just tried the Chrome extension and all the Photobucket images that were broken in my "Heath's Woodworking Projects" thread are now visible to me again.

It gets you around the current problem, but it doesn't make your pictures available to the masses that are looking at your posts. The real solution is to post your pictures on a reliable site, preferably the site hosting your Project. That way, it is either all or nothing.
Most people still won't see your pictures as long as you link to a site like Photobucket.

I agree. I haven't used Photobucket in a long time, but I still have a ton of pictures hosted there that are linked to from this forum and others. To move those pictures and then update all the old posts is just not feasible. This workaround is not intended for going forward, just for making old hidden pictures visible again.

You should always upload the photos to th forum you are posting to. Some forus al ready do not allow hot linking to photos. One of the forums where i post will delete your post if you do this.
