Or tambour cloth and adhesive , any one have a special brand or quality they prefer.
Thinking about a pair of bread boxes to use up some of these small pieces I have left over ,the only thing I have seen locally is ugly green heavy canvas and spray adhesive .

One of the local fabric and sewing stores here had a nice khaki colored canvas in stock. I don't know if it would be heavy enough for your project.

Had a wonderful exp at the fabric store, I asked the young girl there if she had any canvas and explained what I was going to do and she pointed to a rack full of duck canvas of many colors. less then 10 bks and I have enough material for several projects. thanks for the tip. I was looking in all the wrong places lol.

We do. And it's full of Mexican and Oriental spices. Also, it was made with an Ohio machine. The wood came from Tennessee. I do have some stuff from Kentucky but, it's in a different cabinet.

All of the fabric I've seen on rolltops or organ keyboard covers is not canvas, but a quite thin linen. I assume this is done to keep the fabric from interfering with the operation of the cover, but I've always been surprised to not see these tops falling apart with age, even with those getting well up in years, over a century.

They had some spray adhesive instead of liquid glue she said would work, not sure but I think liquid glue might last longer , I picked up a can any way and thought I would test it out .
