Bandsaw upper blade guide adj.

Last night/early early this morning, I had swapped out a 5/8 blade for a 3/8 on my bandsaw and was adjusting it when I ran into this problem. The blade guide adjusting knob is not adjusting the guide blocks. The blade is against the guide block bracket and turning the adjusting knobs does nothing. I am trying to center the blade on the guide blocks (back and forth)
I am never very good at explaining myself here. Attached is a photo which may make my problem more clear.
Any ideas what is the problem? Thanks in advance.

That adjustment knob has a bolt running through it. My guess is the bolt is loose.

Check to see if the screw is run out of the threads of the guide block? Try pushing the guides towards the adjusting knob while turning the knob(clockwise). You should be able to feel the screw threads engaging the threads in the guide block. The guide block is excessively extended in your pix. Be careful to not get it cross threaded.

I have attached a couple images of my bandsaw (with no blade mounted) that may help to clarify the proposed solution (by others) that I suspect is right on. Excuse the saw dust, please. I use mine heavily and have no one to help keep the area clean.

Thanks for the complement but it is not my "skill" that has improved. It is the camera. I have retired my old camera and am not using my Samsung Galaxy for all photographic work.

Hey all. Thanks for the ideas. I forgot I had asked my question in here. I took the adjustment assembly off and put it back on and it worked. So I reckon y'alls advice was right and I just got lucky and fixed it before reading the posts.

unrelated question to @dusty.
are the guide block you have shown here called "cool" block? or regular block or ceramic block?
and yes! i definitely see your photo quality has been improved :-)
