So I went from never knowing what a shopsmith was 2 months ago to now today purchasing my second shopsmith mark v 510 I blame Doug Reid lol just kidding Doug. But originally I was looking for a lathe and came across a 1 owner shopsmith so I did some research and the first thing to pop up was some of Doug's videos. So I went and bought the first one and in amazing shape at that. Today I just bought my second one in absolute horrible shape with rust everywhere but it had the bandsaw on it which I really wanted. Took a couple hours today with some cleaner,elbow grease and paste wax and she's sparkling like diamond.
