Revised Digital Edition of 1953 PTWFE

I mentioned to some folks last year that reworking a true digital edition of the 1953 Power Tool Woodworking for Everyone was on my Bucket List of things I wanted to accomplish.

They are pretty hard to find, and has been out of print for over 60 years.

If you are a 10E / 10ER enthusiast, you will benefit from this version.

If you are a later Mark 5 / Mark V owner, you will benefit by all the extra things that were added from the 1955 version such as Bandsaw, Jointer, Jig Saws, Belt Sander, Sharpening Guides, and user fabricated Jigs.

I have been working on it over the last year and finished it up this last weekend. I have been proof-reading it this week, finishing it last night. I believe it is correct. Due to its sheer size, I did not ask anyone to help proof read it.

I truly hope you enjoy it. It was a remarkable book, and the 1953 version had things in it that were not included in the 1955 or any other version since.

You will find it in My Google Drive link where all the other files too large to post here are. The file is on the main page, not in a sub-directory.

Blessings everyone!

Everett

You will find it in the My Google Drive link at https://www.shopsmith.com/ss_forum/view ... 90#p185690 in the thread titled "Shopsmith Large Format Drawings, Illustrations and More"

Tons of information there, all free, including 10E Preliminary Manual, 10E Owner's Guide, and 10ER Owner's Guide, each with enhanced illustrations and photos, searchable text and active table of contents.

THANK YOU Everett

You are correct, I will now use this digital version rather than my copy. My copy was also signed by R. J. De Cristoforo on 3/24/53 To Margaret Rauch who apparently worked at Magna and helped him with this book. It's a treasure like John's that I would like to keep in the good condition it is now. This is the inside cover. Sorry it's sideways, still need a new photo editor.

Thank you Everett also. Another magnificent piece of work.

Russ, that book is priceless. Where did you find it?

On line from a book re-seller. The top and bottom edges of the jacket are a bit shelf worn. I think I will make a case to display/store it in.
