Wow,
Has it been that long since I was last on here. I had to re-register!!! I hope you guys are all in good health and still making sawdust. I just ordered my power pro diy kit. Took me a long time to decide. I retired and figured if I don't do it now it won't happen.

No Ron,
That must be the problem. I can't remember a lot of things anymore except that I love my shopsmith and makin' sawdust. Thanks for the welcome back.

I hope you enjoy your upgrade project. I added the Power Pro upgrade with the Double Tilt Upgrade at the same time. I believe the actual time spent doing the upgrades were about the estimated time to complete them but I also took the opportunity to touch up the paint, go over all the parts and make my Mark V 520 look like a new Mark 7 when I finished. Since it was going to be apart anyway it was a good time to do it.

I have a silly question. When I turn my main power switch off the display shows low voltage before completely going blank like it should is this a normal display?

Yes, mine does the same thing.

Thank you I figured it didn't indicate a trouble just wanted to be sure.

I know another question but I will be done soon. I really love this power pro upgrade and am happy. Has shopsmith offered firmware updates on the unit yet and if so how do they go about it. Just wondering is the chart database is updatable.

No updates. Not sure it is really necessary. The PP just works to well, and seemingly doesn't have any SW problems.
