Flea and tick season is upon us. Make sure they are not up on your dogs. Here's a tip: I use Fronline Plus but I don't do it the way the instructions say. I told my vet what I do and he says that's what he does and highly recommends it because you won't be over medicating your dogs - except for one potential problem which I'll explain after this:
I have an 11 pound dog. Frontline has a size for 6-22 lbs. dosage. Therefore, a full dose is twice the amount my dog needs (plus I'm paying twice as much). I did the math and no matter what size dose you get (I buy 89-132 lb. dog size). Multiply your dogs weight by .0305 and that gives you the mm dosage for your dog. Saves a lot of money and doesn't over do it with your dog. What you need is in the picture along with the dosage in case you forget. Pour the large dosage into the bottle before measuring.
Caveat: DO NOT FORGET to use the syringe. The vet said that if people buy the big dosage and forget and use it as directed on the package they can kill their dog. My own caveat: You can get good prices on ebay but read first how to tell if it is counterfeit. There's a lot of that out there.

Really John?
Yes really. db5 has posted here hundreds of times. What does that post have anything to do with any of us except advertising? Has he ever done a similar post before?

I'd rather know HOW to open the dose packaging. I use a knife to cut the foil around the green package.

No, that wasn't advertising. It just happens to be the brand I use. The principle applies to any of the flea and tick treatments. One picture saves a lot of words explaining in detail. I just thought it might be helpful to dog owners. I know some SS owners have machines that are dogs but this won't help them.

This works quite well and is made specificly to open those clam-shell packages. Oh NO! Not another advertisement!
