It was a good evening

I sat down to watch the 9pm WGN CH9 news here in the Chicago land area of IL. Tom likes to show photos at the end of his portion of the telecast and viewers send in all sort of interesting things.
I do this occasionally but haven't in a while. Well I had been out walking and taking pictures on March 18 and thought this seen might be nice for his show. I sent it in for the 20th and it didn't show up on his show so I just sort of forgot about it.
So he finishes the weather forecast and There is my picture. Need less to say I had not recorded the show nor did I have a camera to get the picture so it was up and gone with only my word for it. But I did see it so it counts.
I've lost count of the number of times I had a picture on either CH9 or CH5 the other channel I will watch for weather and the weather person there also shows pictures on occasion.
So if you happen to be watching the show this is the picture:
It was taken at Silver Spring State Park from just above the spring. The water is warm enough to support early greening of the water crest as you can see. It is an early look at the spring green that will be everywhere soon(I hope).
I'm hoping they will have a copy of the weather on their web page tomorrow so I can get a capture of the image.
So like I said it was a good evening.
