Under The Mark V Cabinet

Post by tgreen »

I'm Not Sure How You Can Find This Issue, But In The Poular Science Woodworking Projects 1987 Yearbook Is A Nice Storage Cabinet That Hangs From The Bottom Tubes Of The Mark V. It Should Also Add Some Weight For You Turners. When Turning I Just Lay My Tools On Top Of The Cabinet. You May Want To Make The Cabinet A Little Narrower If You Have The Pro Fence System. I'm Going To Build Another Cabinet Using More Drawers This Time.

I built this for my 500 many years ago but the 520 especially with the Lift-Assist is too different. So mine now sits in the corner holding mostly air and my saw blades hanging from the doors.

Even without the lift assist it requires major changes to fit under the 520.
