As others have said, that's a beautiful restoration!

Thank you all, I am pretty happy the way it came out. Below I placed everything as close as I could to copy Fig. 1 of the original manual. It's not perfect but close.

Absolutely gorgeous.
It certainly looks like figure 1 in the original manual.
You even have the 36" straightedge.
Only thing I see is they have the Jacobs chuck closed. Yours looks open.

Question from a guy who doesn't own a 10E or 10ER. What is the hardware on the top of the wood extension table and what was it used for?

If you look at the fence it has two vertical holes. The fence bolted to the posts on the aux table to get a larger cutting width. Then you adjusted the head stock/main table to set the cutting width instead of the fence.algale wrote:Question from a guy who doesn't own a 10E or 10ER. I noticed something I am curious about. Your Jacobs chuck certainly matches Figure 1 as to how it hooks to the arbor. But what is between the chuck and the arbor. Is that some kind of adapter?

The early 10E had a jacobs chuck with a threaded(1/2 - 20) rear bore. The adapter provided the 5/8 bore for the quill.
Later Jacobs made the 3326 explicitly for the ShopSmith.
