bought a used 510 about a year and half ago and finally have time to attempt to get this up and running.

quick question off the bat, then ill starting trying to search and read on all the other things i need to do.

anyway i have the power head on the bench, i had taken it off and dropped the motor and pan to clean and oil it all out.

one the switch i have a black "feed side" coming from source, then i have a blue that goes into the motor. which goes to top off switch ?? or since itsa a simple 120vac does it matter ??

thanks in advance, and the books talks about a 4 wire where mine is a 2 wire at the switch

thanks in advance
Troy

It matters.

You have a switch with 2 terminals?

thanks jpg:
i worked my way thru that problem, its a 2 wire black on bottom side of switch blue on top if anyone else is wondering. my main problem was a broken connection in the male plug.

now i need to do alot of research or find some one close to help me figure out where to go next.

i have the power head running, but the sheaves, belt tension, and speed control are all incorrect or in a unknown state. so the i need to go thru the book and find some you tube vids to try to get that all back to correct

Okay, I have just pulled mine out of storage. Nothing worked. Switch was "sensative" years prior. Now all the wires are off (?), Can someone forward me the diagram for the 4 wire switch?? 2 white, 1 black, 1 Green. old style switch. The top two on the switch are male, as well are the two on the bottom.
Thanks for anyones support in advance.
Sincerely
Jeff

Need colors of INTERNAL motor wires.(blue? white? ???) Should be two if recent model.

I assume the line cord is black white green.
