Question for bandsaw owners

I have an interest in trying to use some Carter guides designed for Shopsmith bandsaws on a non-Shopsmith (Inca) bandsaw. Carter doesn't seem to offer anything for my little 9" (wheel) Inca. But in studying the pictures at the Carter website, the Shopsmith design looks very similar to what I've got.
Would anyone be willing to measure the square (I think it is square) post that extends from the back of their guides and tell me the height, width, and approx. length?
My current guide's post is a 10mm (.393") square cross-section that is approx. 1.5" long. There is a little play when I move the shaft in the socket, so I could probably go a tiny bit larger. If the Shopsmith post is smaller, then I suppose that would be a problem. If it is a little large, I could reduce it pretty easily (the Carter guides are made form aluminum right?).
Any help would be appreciated.
