As I'm sure is the case with most of us, my shop is quickly running out of floor space. So I built a wall cabinet that included pegboard and it is helping already even though I'm not finished loading it up.

That was a great idea and looks good. Hope you don't mind if I borrow that idea in my shop? With so may SS machines and extras I need something that will double the space and be easy to get to
Thanks

Nice Job!!

The only problem I would have, is that I wouldn't know what to do with such a nicely organized area.:D

You are too kind. I'm a great believer in not reinventing the wheel. Please use the ideas. It's only neat because it is new. Give it time and I won't know where a thing is.

Hi Pete! This is really a great project - well done! It is just the kind of thing Ed in Tampa is thinking of doing. I'm really impressed by the care in finishing you did on this project. Are your shelves movable? With L hooks, (right angle screws) you could even add more.

Thanks for posting your photos!

Thanks Charlese. Shelves are all movable. Its the only way I could think of to be able to get all my stuff (not just the stuff in the photos) into the cabinet. It was relatively easy to build. Biggest challenge was not being exactly square (operator error I'm sure) and getting it up on the wall by myself (and level).

Nice Shop Cabinet

Tell me, what are top, bottom and sides made from; is it 1x or 2x stock. It looks like 1x with a face frame.

Are the corner joints butt joints or are they dadoes?

What did you use to locate the holes for your adjustable shelves? I have a couple strips of peg board that hangs around the shop for that.

Looks like a real nice job. I'd have to build two or three to handle all the "stuff" in my shop. Don't have enough wall space so I guess I am stuck with the clutter.
