10er powerswitch broke. Oops!

I was in the garage moving things around today. Decided to raise the 10er up to drill press mode. Don’t know why, just messing with it. Well, the motor plopped off the unit. The bolt that clamps the mount was missing. Anywho, the motor falling destroyed the switch. Anyone have a good source? Will an early Mark 5 work? Mine has the accessory keyed safety switch if it matters. Thank for any help.

Any double pole single throw toggle switch will work. Just make sure it is rated for 120V AC (20 A is common) and a 1/2HP motor. The big box stores have them and any electrical supply store will have them. It is nothing special or unique to the 10ER.

I got one at Home Depot for mine, That was several years ago so I don't have the part number. Look for one that is rated for electric motors or a high amperage, they have a larger contact surface to accommodate the high draw when the motor is starting up.
You can also get them from
MKC Tools
and
Hog Winslow

Ordered the part from Skip, along with his tool rest handle upgrade. Received within a few days. No complaints here. Mother ship could learn a few things here...

Now to install them and maybe make a few videos- I have been so lazy!
