These are a couple of old furnace blowers that I built into safety boxes. I finally got around to doing them so I could take them to an annual family reunion of Diana's family. Their regular home will be in my farm / mechanic shop. The Woodshop has AC but the farm shop does not. These were pretty much done from scrap and salvage stuff. The one on the bottom is taller because it is belt drive and the motor sits on top of the fan. The upper one has its motor in the center of the squirrel cage. I still need to give them a quick coat of paint. Each of them can be opened up for repair / maintenance by removing 4 screws and lifting all of the top off.
The ability to move massive amounts of air (and sometimes welding smoke) is very important in that farm shop.
Quick and crude but they will serve my needs well.
