More Kitchen Utinsels

I am finishing up the last of my kitchen utinsel turnings today. I did the pizza server and another ice cream scoop. All I have left is the pizza cutter, garlic press and then one more set of pepper/salt mills and I can move onto toys for the grandsons and a yo-yo which I am looking forward to. The blank in the picture is an endgrain scrap of zebrawood and two scraps of ebony for the pizza cutter handle. I decided to experiment with the end grai piece and see if it holds up. The next big project starts soon so I am trying to get these done first.

Very nice, as always. I look forward to seeing the end grain one. I bet it ends up looking great.

Love it the thing I remember most about zebra wood was how it dulled my tools. When I first started using my Shopsmith back in the late 70s I made a biplane out of zebra wood and Padouk. I still have it although somewhat bruised and battered. It has been played with by several generations. I think I might try a new one since my skills, limited as they are, are better than then.
