I have an older Scroll Saw purchased in 1991.
Shop smith doesn't carry the replacement pulleys anymore.
Looking for some where I can get some.
Part numbers 515093 & 515094 with a belt 515090.
Any help would be appreciated.

The pulleys in question are timing belt(Gilmer) pulleys internal to the scroll saw.

I am curious why they would need 'replacing'.

Is it possible you are wanting to convert a SS mount scroll saw? If so, I would simply add a v-belt pulley etc..

I really like McMaster for high quality steel or cast iron pulleys over the lighter cast metal. They have those too.

Once you know the size (which includes the V-Belt geometry) you can find a pulley most of the time. Great company based on years of buying things from them in my mind.

The otional power stand mounted scroll saw originally had stepped pulleys allowing speed changes by moving the V-Belt.

Someone here will weigh in on the pulley sizes I am sure. I don't have one to measure. I recall someone who bought one that came off a power stand converting his to Shopsmith mounted so he could use it to drive it, but I don't remember if it was in the Shopsmith forums that I read about it.

JPG asked if you were going to convert to Shopsmith mounted.

One would have the proper mounts etc. to do that and they should still be available.

Depending on the exact model you have, if it doesn't have the quick change blade upgrade, it may be one of the ones that can be upgraded.

DAV6303's original post was referring to the pulleys internal to the self powered scroll saw. That is why I questioned whether he was attempting to convert FROM a SS mount saw. If so, I do wonder what motor was going to be used.

You are by all standards the dean of knowledge on the Scroll Saw based on your excellent rebuild thread.

For those who encounter this thread that might be wishing to convert one to use on a Mark 5 / Mark 7, you will not find the posts to mount it in the parts available in the on-manual.

However 5137779 Eccentric Post for Bandsaw, Strip Sander will work just fine if someone needs to do that in the future. They are the same, just not linked in the parts manual to the Scroll Saw. They are about $19 ea.

If someone owns a Scroll Saw that is mounted to a stand and wanted to convert it to Shopsmith mounted (As James mentioned) one would need the offset mounting posts.

When one looks them up on the scroll saw parts diagram and clicks on 114 for the mounting posts, the site responds with no reference number in the following manner:

undefined * Item Not Found * ... $9,999.99 which is another way of saying Not Available

The Part List itself only goes to 101.

The point I was making is that the offset mounts for the bandsaw etc. are the same and will work for anyone wishing to mount a stand version on an Mark 5 / Mark 7.

They will still need the Power Coupler and 503572 1/2" SPT Accessory Hub set.
