New computer desk purchase

Our local mall Sears store has gone belly up and there is only about 10 more days until the doors close. While walking by I noticed a work bench, already assembled, well actually two of them and a boxed one that looked like it could be damaged. I though about it and since I would have to take the bench apart to get it in the van unless I felt like taking all the seats out, and I didn't and the damaged box, well no refunds or exchanges so too much a risk.
So today I walk by and a new box appeared, this one was in perfect condition so I got the clerk and purchased it. I still have to look it up online but the store seemed to think it was worth $300. Not sure if that is true but for the $180 I figured it was a good enough bargain.
It is 6 feet long, height adjustable from 32 to 44 inches. Has a power plug with USB and a bottle opener. Butcher block top that is 24" deep.
I'm hoping that the height will be good for standing at and have a stool for when I want to sit. If not then I just wasted some good money. Worse comes to worse I could use it as a workbench but that was not my intention. BTW this is house hold purchase so none of the tool budget gets used.....
A major relaying out of the computer room has to be done so it might be a while before I get to try it out. It needs to be done anyway so this is called incentive.
I guess this how I manage to stay busy.
