Bandsaw running noisy with new 5/8" blade

I've just installed a new 5/8" Shopsmith blade on the bandsaw--first time I've changed the blade. I've gone over the manual and the saw as carefully as I can; spent about two hours on it, and the saw seems to be running way too noisy; I can't believe everything's all right.
Here's a video I shot of the system running.

Any suggestions?
Many thanks!

SS band saws are pretty noisy by nature. That does not sound excessive to me. What blade did you have on it before?

Sounds like a weld knock. No biggie.

Agree, but it can be minimized by abrading.
What speed is it running? seems a but fast for 5/8" tasks.
It appears(not too clear) the blade is tracking a bit too far back on the upper wheel. It should be about the same as it appears on the lower wheel. Insufficient cant will cause that.
The weld knock will occur at 4 points - guide
bearings(2) and blade
guides(2).
Where was the blade sourced?

I believe that he said it is a Shopsmith blade in post one. Does sound like blade weld clunk. You may want to check with Shopsmith VS.

The 5/8” blade came directly from Shopsmith.

I think when I shot the video I had it running at the speed the mark 7 chart gives for a 5/8” blade in hardwood. That would be 1000 RPM.

My 5/8" blade from Shop Smith sounds just like that!

The band saw is the noisiest of the shopsmith items, by far...if it is cutting wood, use it and wear ear protection. It is the only one that is noisier than my dust collection, and each blade has its own noise...
