While researching DC motor brush holders, brushes and caps for the DC Feed Motor for Shopsmith Planers in another thread, I came across this 20A Safety Toggle switch.

It is rated for 20A at 125 volt which meets or exceeds the spec for the OEM switch.

The HP rating tells it all. Good replacement!

Puny contact switches do not have decent HP rating.
